Since my childhood I was highly fascinated by the Indians, a growing fascination over the years.
I get inspired by authentic pictures of their important leaders, amongst others Sitting Bull or Chief Josef.
As a portrait painter I discovered pride, dignity, courage as well as wisdom in their faces. The more I tried to understand their history, the more I felt obligated to paint them the way they really were. Indians love the Big Spirit, and never doubt of his existence.
   They respected mother earth and their act would have never allowed to harm her. Materialism was not part of their mentality. Not the richest one was respected, but the one that gave his good´s to others. The Indian wisdom is still alive. The Indians not only have a past - but also a future.
